Mr. Woll has been involved in the polymer industry for over 20 years. In 2003, Mr. Woll co-founded Ed-Lynn Network in order to provide a unique range of ultra-high quality thermal and UV additives as well as ‘made to order’ additive blends engineered to enhance application performance in the various niche markets of plastics processors. Alan Woll, states, “The Ed-Lynn Network company is committed to changing the method by which polymer additives are introduced and sold into the marketplace. Ed-Lynn Network is the functional alliance between a manufacturer of additives and a sales, manufacturing and distribution company. This alliance allows for the direct sales of high quality polymer additives to the plastics and petrochemical industries at very competitive pricing via an experienced sales and technical support team.”

Scott Arnopolin helped to start the Network Performance Additives (fka Ed-Lynn Network) business back in its infancy in 2003. He has spent over 12 years in sales and operations in a variety of industries, including technology manufacturing, technology consulting and thermoplastics. His understanding of both domestic and international distribution channels encompasses logistics, operations, sales and technology information systems. With a strong knowledge in operations and information systems, Scott has been responsible for sales projections, inventory movements, profitability and systems implementations. Scott’s demand for excellence has resulted in a 31% increase in profits, while improving overall cash flow by controlling inventory turns and enhancing staff morale and customer confidence. With Scott’s vast knowledge in these areas, he brings organization and attention to detail to Network Performance Additives.

Rick Wilk
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Wilk provides leadership and knowledge to the Network Performance Additives team with proven results in executing successful growth strategies. He is a proactive relationship builder with a strong technical aptitude and a unique understanding of the latest product technologies and services. Mr. Wilk brings with him 21 years of Polymer Additive expertise from Ciba Specialty Chemicals where he held positions of Director of Sales for Polymer Products, Director of Agent and Distribution Sales for NAFTA and Director of New Business Development for polymer additives. Mr. Wilk also worked for 7 years at Schenectady Chemicals where he was the Product and Marketing Manager for the Electrical and Chemical divisions. Rick also served for the US Army 1970 -1973 on the airborne committee at Fort Benning, GA, Battalion Air Defense officer for an Armor Brigade as well as a platoon leader attached to a heavy armored unit. Mr. Wilk has a BS degree in Environmental and Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado.

John H. Boles

As Director of Business Development for Network Performance Additives, Mr. Boles provides product and market guidance to the Network Performance Additives Sales organization. He facilitates the promotion and direction efforts of new product sales opportunities. Mr. Boles brings a wealth of experience to Network Performance Additives. John was the Division President of Polymer Additives at Cytec Industries where he managed $150 million in global business including manufacturing, marketing, research, technical service and sales. At Great Lakes Chemical, John was the General Manager of Polymer Stabilizers for North America. He grew newly acquired European business from $25 million to 75 million in sales in 3 ½ years. Before coming to Network Performance Additives, Mr. Boles held the title of Business Director and Sales Director for additives for Ciba Specialty Chemicals. At Ciba, John managed their $150 million business with marketing, sales and technical service for the world leader in additives for polyolefins. John was also head of Additive sales with $300 million in sales for all polymers in the United States and managed four regions and twenty-four sales people and managers in the US. Joseph E. Davis Jr.

2008 will mark thirty years that Mr. Davis has been in the Chemical Business. Over twenty-five years of that time he has been involved in the Additives Business. Joe's real exposure to the Additives Business was during his tenure with Schenectady Chemicals, Inc. where he worked with both John Boles and Rick Wilk (1980-1990). As an Account Manager, he was responsible for the sales of alkylphenols, di-alkylphenols, antioxidants, and thermo-engineering monomers. His territory was the Southern USA, and encompassed sales to surfactant, oil field chemical, polylefin resin, thermo-engineering resin, antioxidant, and photographic chemical producers. Joe worked for Clariant Corporation(formerly Sandoz Chemical Corporation) from 1990 to 2002 as a Senior Sales Representative where he was repsonsible for the sales of antioxidants, UV-stabilizers, polymer waxes, flame retardants, polymerization inhibitors, pigments, and polymer soluble dyes. His territory was the USA, Canada, and Mexico, and encompassed sales to polyolefin resin, thermo-engineering resin, coating, and monomer producers. Joe generated sales of ~$18 million in a seven(7) year period. At the time, it was ~50% of the division sales). The past five(5) years Joe was involved with Nuvo, Ltd. He was involved with patent work on a new innovative chemical process(proprietary). Joe has a B.A. in Chemistry from Indiana University. Mr. Davis prides himself as being technically competent with plastics additives down to the molecular level.

Bob Duncan
Technical Sales Manager

Bob Duncan, with 16 years of technical experience in the thermal plastics industry, heads up the Midwest region for Network Performance Additives. Bob's technical specialty is with color development. He began his career in 1991 at Multibase(Copley,OH) in the color lab where he started up the pilot plant where new product development was initiated. From Multibase he moved onto Steere Enterprises working in Blow molding, Dip Molding and Injection Molding as an assistant supervisor before coming to Diamond Polymers. Bob was the Color Manager in Diamond Polymers, Inc's. A2LA accredited laboratory for 5 years where he worked on new product color development, achieving maximum color and stability thru the development of formulas of various pigments,UV's, and AO's. He brings technical support in colors, resins and processing to an already well balanced group at Network Performance Additives. Bob takes pride in his work ethic, dedication to his family, and an understanding of his customers.

Steven Blazey, Ph.D.

Dr. Steven Blazey has his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Case Western University. Dr. Blazey has a strong background in plastic materials, additives, chemicals, pigments, compounding, and plastics processing. His past experiences include working as a Research Chemist at USI Chemical Company (Equistar), as the Technical Director at A. Shulman, Inc., and as the President of Diamond Polymers, Inc. Steve leads our team in Research & Development and Technical Services. Dr. Blazey’s expertise plays a major role in our testing and troubleshooting abilities. Network Performance Additives is pleased to have Dr. Steven Blazey helping us to achieve our goals.

Michael J. Neumann

Mr. Neumann has 35 years of accounting and financial management experience. Michael has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Bentley College of Accounting and Finance. He has spent the past 7 years working in the plastics industry in Akron, Ohio. Michael has finished nine marathons including the New York Marathon and Chicago Marathon.
